Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley

As the Reds continue to make plans for life after Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Bradley has been rewarded for his success at Liverpool with a new, long-term contract. Bradley has signed a contract that will keep him committed to Anfield until June 2029.

The 21-year-old right-back’smostrecent contract, which he signed in December 2023, was greatly improved by this one. Since then, he has established himself as a first-team regular under both current head coach Arne Slot and former coach Jurgen Klopp.

Bradley’s long-term contract is a huge help to Liverpool, who will lose Alexander-Arnold, their current first-choice right-back, when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign. It is anticipated that the England international will sign a free transfer to Real Madrid.

Additionally, Liverpool is moving forward with plans to add Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen to their lineup in order to increase their options in the position.

After speaking with the player’s representatives, the Reds are anticipated to activate the 24-year-old’sapproximately£30 million release clause.

Bradley, who arrived from Dungannon United as an Academy player in 2019, made his Liverpool senior debut in a League Cup tie at Norwich City in September 2021 and later that year featured in the Champions League.

Before returning to Liverpool last season, where he made his Premier League debut, scored his first goal in a top-flight victory over Chelsea, and started the League Cup final victory over the same opponents at Wembley, the Northern Ireland international spent the 2022–2023 season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, where he won the EFL Trophy.

Bradley has made 27 appearances under Slot this season and is anticipated to start Monday’s Premier League trip to Brighton.

After Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk signed new contracts last month, he is the most recent Liverpool player to reaffirm their commitment to Anfield. Ibrahima Konate is about to enter the final 12 months of his current contract, and negotiations over a new one have not yet been concluded.

Bradley told liverpoolfc.com, “I’m really proud and happy to see what the next steps on our journey together will be to sign another contract.” “All you need to do is keep working hard and keeping your head down.”

“It has been a fantastic two years (with the senior team). Especially since coming back from loan and doing so well last year and continuing that on this year. It’s been really good. So, hopefully we can keep going and keep making more memories.”
