Wilfred Ndidi is close to joining Besiktas, but the Nigerian midfielder has not yet made up his mind.
Wilfred Ndidi, who joined Leicester City in January 2017, may be ready to turn things around this summer after making over 250 appearances for the Foxes. The English team and Besiktas have come to an agreement for the Nigerian to join Turkey’s Super Lig.
This summer, Besiktas is making every effort to sign Wilfred Ndidi. By agreeing to pay the £9 million release clause (roughly €10.5 million) for the Nigerian midfielder, the Istanbul team has reportedly taken a significant step forward. Ndidi is being offered a three-year deal by Besiktas with a four-year option.
The player is still hesitant to give the go-ahead, even though he is scheduled to travel to Istanbul for his medical and to finalize personal terms. The 28-year-old is carefully considering his options. The player reportedly wants to prioritize Fenerbahçe, another Turkish powerhouse, as well as a number of Bundesliga clubs. The situation is also being closely watched by Everton and other English teams.
