A fresh offer of more than £65 million has been made by Manchester United for Bryan Mbeumo.

All the details as Man United 'launch third bid' for leading transfer target Mbeumo

According to reports, Manchester United has made a third bid for Bryan Mbeumo, a forward for Brentford.

The Red Devils have made two unsuccessful attempts to sign the Cameroon international, as the Bees have turned down their offers.

Although Mbeumo has made it clear that he only wants to move to Old Trafford, Newcastle United, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in him this summer.

Man United’s second bid is rumoured to have been over £62 million after their initial offer of £55 million failed, but Brentford was unhappy with the terms of the agreement and wanted more money to be paid up front.

The 20-time English champions may decide to put an end to the transfer drama, according to reports, and the Bees have since stated that the asking price has increased to £70 million.

Journalist David Ornstein claims that Man United has made a third attempt to acquire the Cameroonian.

Although it is unclear if the structure is considered appropriate, Ornstein asserts that the Red Devils have offered £65 million as a fixed fee with £5 million in add-ons, which matches Brentford’s valuation.

The 20-time English champions are certain they can close a deal despite the delay, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who also confirmed the offer.

According to Romano, Mbeumo is expected to join Man United in time for their preseason tour of the United States, and Brentford is seeking to replace him with Omari Hutchinson of Ipswich Town.

On Saturday, Manchester United will play Leeds United in a friendly to begin their 2025–26 Premier League season preparations, but Mbeumo most likely won’t have arrived in time for the game.

After playing West Ham United, Bournemouth, and Everton on their preseason tour in the United States early next week, the Red Devils will return to England on July 9 to play Fiorentina.

On July 26, Mbeumo might make his Premier League Summer Series debut against West Ham.

The 25-year-old has made 242 appearances for Brentford across all competitions, tallying 70 goals and 51 assists.

The versatile attacker made 42 appearances for the Bees last season, tallying nine goals and nine assists. He has

been a leading target for Ruben Amorim’s team this summer.
