According to PUNCH Sports Extra, Victor Osimhen’s overhead kick during Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory over Antalyaspor in October 2024 was chosen as the Super Lig’s Goal of the Season.
To defeat his teammate and Turkish defender Kaan Ayhan (34.2%), Osimhen received 65.8% of the fan votes on X.
The poll was announced on Tuesday after being conducted on the Turkish Super Lig’s official X handle on Monday.

Before facing his teammate, whose entry was a free-kick, he scaled two nomination states.
On October 19, 2024, Osimhen replaced Yunus Akgun in the 78th minute and played for just 13 minutes before scoring the game-winning goal.
After relocating to Turkey, it was also his third goal of the season. After the Italian clubs froze him out of their squad, he made a last-minute loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray.
With 26 goals in the 2024–25 Süper Lig season, the Nigerian striker finished the season with 37 goals overall.
As clubs compete for Osimhen’s signature, his future remains one of the most talked-about issues of the summer transfer window.
