According to reports, Manchester United will make a move for a center-forward during the summer transfer window. The Red Devils are preparing to make a high-profile acquisition in that position.
It was believed that the Red Devils would sign a short-term option in the final third of the field, with Mathys Tel reportedly a target, after allowing Marcus Rashford and Antony to go on loan in January.
But in the end, Man United and Bayern Munich were unable to reach a consensus regarding Tel, so the forward moved to Tottenham Hotspur on a first loan.
The 20-time English champions were also linked to Leon Bailey of Aston Villa and Christopher Nkunku of Chelsea, while Randal Kolo Muani had appeared to be a target prior to his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus.
In the end, Man United maintained their composure in the face of Antony and Rashford’s departures in order to be in a better financial position during this summer’s transfer window.

With 22 appearances across all competitions, Osimhen has scored 17 goals and provided five assists while on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli this season. The 26-year-old may be moving permanently this summer.
