Liverpool is nearing completion on three deals after a £35 million transfer was agreed upon and a signing was spotted at the training facility.

Liverpool is trying to bolster Arne Slot’s Premier League-winning team during the busy summer transfer window. Florian Wirtz, who joined the team in a club-record deal worth up to £116 million from Bayer Leverkusen on Friday, became the most recent addition.

On Monday night, Nat Phillips completed a permanent £3 million transfer to West Bromwich Albion, making him the newest departing player. After spending the previous two seasons on loan at Celtic, Cardiff City, and Derby County, the 28-year-old left Liverpool permanently with one year remaining on his contract.

However, Liverpool already has more incoming and outgoing deals in the works, so the Reds’ business won’t stop there.

Milos Kerkez

Milos Kerkez is expected to join Liverpool from AFC Bournemouth in a £40 million deal. The Hungary international was seen at the AXA Training Centre on Monday as he began a medical examination before finalizing the switch after returning to England by plane.

The 21-year-old will make his Reds debut this week and is anticipated to be included in the team that reports for preseason training on July 7 in preparation for the summer’s first friendly against Preston North End six days later on July 13.

At least one of Andy Robertson or Kostas Tsimikas will probably leave the team later this summer as a result of the left-back’s arrival.

Jarell Quansah is expected to sign a contract worth up to £35 million with Bayer Leverkusen. The two clubs have been negotiating for the center-back all summer, and they have now reached an agreement that will see him move to Germany. They had previously discussed moves for Jeremie Frimpong and Wirtz with the Bundesliga team.

The terms may also include a buy-back clause for the Reds. It is understood that the initial sum is £30 million with an additional £5 million in add-ons.

The agreement won’t be finalized until after Quansah’s England Under-21 team competes in the European Championships. After defeating Spain in the quarterfinals last weekend, he assisted the young Lions in securing a semi-final matchup with the Netherlands, scheduled for Wednesday. If Lee Carlsey’s team advances, Saturday’s final will be held in Bratislava.

Although they are prioritizing a younger player with exceptional potential, Liverpool would be interested in acquiring a new center-back to replace Quansah. The Reds are happy with the options that are currently available to them in case the ideal one does not come up.

Liverpool would only deviate from this preference if a favorable market opportunity arose elsewhere, such as if Crystal Palace were prepared to sell Marc Guehi for a high price, given that the England international is currently approaching the end of his contract.

A season-long loan deal for Harvey Davies to join Crawley Town of League Two is almost finalized. Prior to finalizing the temporary transfer, the Reds will probably verify that the goalie has agreed to a long-term deal.

The 21-year-old’sbriefdeparture comes shortly after Vitezslav Jaros signed a season-long loan agreement with Ajax.

After Alisson Becker and Giorgi Mamardashvili, summer additions Armin Pecsi, Kornel Misciur, and Fabian Mrozek will provide goalkeeping depth.
